OK. First year is the worst then. No one really likes it.
It also depends where the training is and what type. Busy hospitals give better training. Even doing scut work may pay off in future.
Second year is better and so on.
Going through tough training really comes handy in future. The person really becomes tough emotionally and learns how to control sleep wake cycle (taking cat nap) and manage other issues along with. Many doctors answer their pages during night, give orders and go back to sleep and still remember in morning what they said.
