what are some of the good safe places in karachi? i know there aren’t alot…i dont want it in clifton or defence…roughly how much would it cost? it does not have to be huge..3 bedroom would be good
also..can i like make a down payment and then pay monthly..like we have mortgage payments here in states

Sheraz, first of all why the aversion to defence and clifton? Secondly most of Karachi is safe, it is only a few troubled areas where there is violence.
You can probably buy apartments on installment, i do not think you will find houses under such scheme for you (living outside of Pakistan). Most importantly how much investment are we talking about?

keep in mind that if you buy investment property, u are exposing yourself to 2 potential dangers, squatters or bad tenants.
so if you either go thru some agencies that rent such places to corporate clients, or know ppl who will rent it great otherwise it can be a headache.
property values are currently growing, but we have seen peaks and valleys before, there may eb better investment options if you want to invest in Pakistan, if you want to invest in real estate for teh sake of investment, do it here.
