valentine's day is so much fluff. If i find my match that's compatible and loves and cares for me, I wouldn't care if he brings me flowers and candy on V day. It is the actions as in show love and care for me, my family and I will totally love and care back and not the fluff words and displays of affection to show off to others on Valentine's day.
I would've been lucky enough to find my life partner so who give's a hoot for V day. I am in no rush to celebrate it. I'll take my time thank you. :--P
I have done different things in the past like hang out with friends, go to movies, lunch, shopping, etc.
We've also done VDay parties where people made things and brought them over...this is all for single people of course and purely an excuse to dress up, eat, watch TV, gossip, fool around, etc.
Some people take this day way too seriously and get lavish...I don't believe it holds that much significance. But its a cute holiday and a red rose to your sweetheart never hurt anyone. :)
i seriously don’t understand why people allow themselves to be fooled into feeling “sad” and “lonely” just cuz a bunch of supermarkets have red and hearts and chocolate displayed everywhere. poora saal akailay guzaar leytay hain, aik din ata hai toh rona dhona shuru
i’ll be waiting for steak and bj day (focus on the steak people, just the steak)
all i wanted was steak but now i feel dirty :( i've typed it out now ok, it's too late to change it. i already had to delete what i wrote to diwana in another thread lest i want to lose all sanity. proud of myself though, takes serious willpower to avoid him during mod free month.
Why do people say things like "eweryday shuld be a valentine day"
Life1 ki zindagi is hi baat pe qayam hai ke everyday is NOT Valentine's Day.
Kehne ke liye sab ajate hein...because talk is cheap and let's face it...VDay is considered a gora thing. We all dislike the gora but still want fair babies.
Karne ko no one does a dime's worth of work to make Valentin'e Day happen in their home everyday.
You don't need a specific day - no one does. But if you do not even want to appreciate your partner ONE day...you've got bigger problems.
