The weather in NYC for the last week has resembled Darjeeling in July. It has rained buckets for a week straight. I just ordered a dumpling soup from Excellent Dumpling house and two ducks delivered it to my office. people are just sloshing around all over the place. My admin was complaining about her suede boots that are ruined..“even the pompoms on the boots are soaked” she said…as she made eyes at me. I told her.." next time add a couple of inches and a sharper heel to the boots before walking into my office…ullu" She didn’t know what ullu meant..
It will probably turn cold very soon and I will have to deal with Penguins driving cabs.
oh yes i never understand why people in NY spend so much on suede boots. u cant wear them in the summer, and it rains in the fall, and snow in the winter messes them up.
I leave hot sweaty Florida to come visit the lovely New England Fall, and I spend all day looking over my shoulder for a frikkin' Ark. So far no Ark, but the animals seem to be pairing up. Dizzle, Dreary, Depressing. Meanwhile Florida should be getting really nice around Halloween.....
