There’s an ancient thread on here where a Guppan had shared that rishta prospects had come to her home and at first things were going well. Then all of a sudden the guy’s parents started dissing the girl. She tolerated that, but when the dissed her parents in front of her, she couldn’t stay quiet. The guy’s mom glumly told her that they were testing her tolerance level and that she had been doing so well. There actually are idiots like this, it seems.

I do know some of those type who insults Rishta prospect just to test that, I myself could never understand how self respecting person could allow himself to be insulted like that just for a Rishta.
