A poem i wrote a while back but thought i’d share it… For those who have been heart broken…
Here goes…
I walk alone…alone on the path we had once taken together. The shadows of the memories side by side. Every now and then they creep by awaking the reality of my loneliness. The dreams swept away far back in the distance, I dare not turn back to see for they are an illusion, an illusion of the happiness we once had.
Now I take this journey alone, hand in hand; in the hope of new dreams; for every step I do take lies a new hope and a beginning of new dreams.
