people think of me in all sorts of manners.. some very insulting and some very complimenting…
after 30 seconds i ignore the comment and carry on as if it didnt existed..
and u cant get happy/angry at something that didnt existed..

i would suggest u ignore such comments, and possibly, stop seeing those people if its a choice-based scenario.. YOU know yourself better, you actually know yourself the BEST and any other person who is not YOU, whatever he or she says, cant be accurate.. simple..

puuuuuuuuuurrrfect thing to do, i agree. The kind a ppl i deal with in my daily life and where i live…maan i get loads of compliments and comments…but what can u do, get a hard core shield infront of u and move on. If u end up takin things hard on u what ppl say to u, u will end up hurting urself only!

but y even think for 30 secondz, az they say ek kaan se suno dusray se nikaal dou, even if sum1 say sumthing just smile them at back, datz wat i do.....kuz u have to know wat u r, n if sum1 comment bout u(positive or negetive) just dont think bout kuz if it'z fake statement den y u even care n if itz true den y even think bout it kuz u kant change it

Sara dont worry- its another proof of the fact that people are ridding their lives of manners and ettiquettes. Actually its the person who said that to you who is the dumb one (for lack of better words) and is very judgemental which says a lot about them too. So i know it may feel hurtfull but think of the shallow personality its coming from and thank allah you are not like them :)

Don’t feel insulted…it was mean, but at least they see u really r an intelligent person…sometimes u (in general) can seem different on the surface, and then ppl see the real U later…u have to feel intelligent urself first…if u don’t believe u r, then everyone else will have a hard time believing u r also…don’t let it get to u, just see the good in it instead…no point dwelling on the negative side of it.
How do u change it? Like i said, first BELIEVE that U R intelligent and then that confidence will come across to others also. Even in times when ur not feeling so brainy, act like u r…it’s not always good to show ur weaknesses to everyone.
Oh and i had a friend once, she wud always lie to me and tell me she got B’s and C’s in class when really she was a straight A student…when i found out, i asked her, “wot, did u want me to feel sorry for u?” she said “na, i just know u don’t do as well as me and i didn’t want u to know how smart i am bcos then u wud feel bad!”…i was like ok, that was a snobby thing to do…okay, maybe that’s off-topic, but my point is some ppl act innocent too…so maybe some ppl think that about u also i duno…but if u want to change it, look within urself…that’s the only advice i can think of

You know what Sarah, my first impression of you was that you were a bit of a blonde, but I do think you're quite smart and underestimate yourself a lot, so you give people the impression you're ditsy when you're actually not. :p
