^ sure why not! India did not become what we are today by practicing exclusionism. As you know we have 33,333,333 Gods. accepting Allah (that is Allah for everyone else and allah for armughal) will just make it 33,333,334. More the merrier
You can start by thanking them that you are not a woman in Hinduism that gets cremated alive with her husband's dead body or be burnt for not bringing a dowry or thank them for not being a Dalit who had lead poured into his ear if overheard 2 Brahmins talking...
Many more, but we'll let you chew on this for awhile...
Curmudgeon, If the idea of starting thread was
**1. throw a stone on honeybee nest, you have achieved it… **
**2. If the idea was to expose that how a thread where you thank God for being Hindu can be coverted within 3 posts into Hindu bashing … You have achieved it… **
**My personal view, GS has been declared many a times without Mods interfering a MUSLIM, PAKISTANI, ISLAMIC FORUM. Hence this thread here will only lead to redicule from people with half baked knowledge of religion, some good knowledge of own religion, and hearsay knowledge of our religion… **
**Hence be ready for some abuses and maligning of Hinduism here… **
umm do hindus believe and worship the GodS (as they say) that they make by themselves?? I mean sum ppl actually make their gods..! FRm sand and other stuff into statues! and the statues are in the form of Monkey.ppl wid no clothes on..and elephants .. etc..
*Our Allah actually created this whole world..universe..every existing thing..and no one ever created him..! So Allah is like a true God..! *
there cant b more than one God..cuz it just doesnt work this way!
:-).. A post based on heresay............ :-)
Please read some stuff before decrying other religion...
I have been planning to write this for sometime, finally got the energy and focus to pen this down...
Hindu's also believe in one GOD, it has three faces (as in you have multiple faces) Brahma - Creator, Vishnu - Preserver, Shiva - Destroyer.
All the incarnations (Ram, Krishna etc.) are messengers of higher on being (You can call that Allah, we call it brahm - or higher soul - that has three faces to it)
Other GODs are powers of material world, here the definition of GOD got confused. Since we call them
Bhagwan - Bhag is fate - giver of fate - this are the one's normally turned into IDOLs and worshipped. That is more to acknowledge the power of nature.
The one God (Brahm) is called Eshwar - One Person.
Since Christians came with simplistic one GOD concept they couldn't fathom multiple "Objects" Hindus pray, hence they called all of them GOD. Here is a difference between Ishwar and Bhagwan.
Hindu system talks about four phases of life
Childhood, Learning Phase, Family Phase, and Sanyas ( keeping them simple not using complex actual Sanskrit words)
Hence in old age a Hindu is suppose to take Sanyas, you still have many older Hindus just leaving for Holy places and spending last part of life in remote places in Haridwar, Varanasi or Himalayas.
Idols (of Incarnations) were introduced for humans to keep the rememberance of GOD during first three phases of life. So that he doesn't forget him while devoted and engrossed in material world. Hence the Idols and remembering of true power behind IDOLs rather than the stone, its just a stone/idols to keep the rememberance the ultimate being.
There isn't a temple of Brahma the creator normally. He is suppose to be the supreme being with no shape. << Please don't search internet, since you may find few temples of him across on this earth, as you find Prophets pics being sold in Iran.>>
Finally Hinduism isn't a religion of book. its more based on analysis and keeps evolving. It needs lots of reading, patience and understanding to fathom a religion that is more than 4000+ years old.

and hymns 10.129 and 10.130, dealing with a creator deity, especially verse 10.129.7:

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

I’m surprised you’re the one to suggest that we’re all here to attack. What do you folks do here all day long? Bash Islam and Muslims under the context that this is merely just your opinions and expression.
I’ve seen numerous threads go down the drain because many have made it a habit that they must BS about Islam at every opportunity.
Aside from that, you may all want to cool it a little, otherwise I would be left with no other choice, but to lock down the thread.
No wonder Indians are one of most secular people in the world, right now...cause they are finally realizing what their so called "religion" really is.
come again what was the great prophet's story ... did it come on piece of paper notarized by allah:-)... he told stories peopl bought it in fact is not it the way all the religion spirng forth..going by your logic no religion is religion.........
