Why is that so many threads opened on terrorists and every other discussion has talk about terrorists in the beginning, in the middle or ends with what they do???
Let it be the last thread about ‘them’ and acknowledge life is still beautiful and there are billions of people whose lives do not revolve around criminals.
What if I told you it should not make millions and millions Muslims fall in to this psychological war against them and feel depressed or be ashamed of who they ARE and have been?
This is the way I see millions of Muslims are being affected and that is because they let others walk all over them.
Relax. Do what is right. Live happily. Be content.
Reject everything which is deliberately being connected to criminals and indirectly to Muslims.
Don’t fall in to this trap like Chintu like people try again and again. Oppose these kind of people with all force.
We recently had KKF type people playing for a long time with Pakistanis and their sentiments…in covert way making them depressed and angry with their home country. Now Chintu came back to do same.
If we have to survive in this world, we need to compete globally.
Right now, no one is willing to invest in my country. Even Pakistanis in position of power are not willing to invest here. Ex-military officers are immigrating to Canada and Australia in droves. While India hosts commonwealth games only a few kilometers away from the border, no international sports team is willing to visit my country, not even Afghanistan. Forget foreigners, even Pakistanis are not willing to visit some of the most beautiful places on earth in the North-West and South-West of Pakistan. TEACHERS and PROFESSORS, supposedly the most respected professionals in Islam, are killed because of sectarian differences.
Hundreds and thousands of my countrymen are butchered every year. You ask me to relax? live happily? be content??? REALLY? If you live in a safe, secure country, good for you. Please do not ask me to relax. Terrorism is the biggest issue facing my country right now and we can no longer live in denial.
This situation is absolutely not sustainable. Don’t call it terrorism, call it a conspiracy but we have a REAL mess and WE have to deal with it. Burying our heads in the sand won’t help at all.
This is exactly what needs to be stopped.
**
Terrorism is NOT what is affecting Pakistan in general.**
It is the despair and depression which is affecting many people spread by constant bombardment of news of something bad happening everyday.
Average Pakistanis problem is day to day difficulties of going to work, dealing with traffic, paying high for utilities and healthcare, etc. etc.
Pakistan is somehow made a country of people who live in depression due to this terrorism talk and its news but AVOIDING the real day to day issues.
**Bad Politicians love it. They do not have to answer people why wheat/sugar/electricity/medicine and water expenses are so high. **Blame terrorism. And be done with. Make people fool that terrorism is the biggest problem so they can continue what they do.
P.S. Who cares about international sports team by the way? Is that some kind of prestigious symbol? Really?
REALLY? These day-to-day issues are all economic in nature. And we are doing bad economically because of lack of business and investment opportunities. What is the thing businesses and investors most worried about? SECURITY.
International sports teams not visiting is not about status symbol. It is about how my country is perceived in the world. Who would want to invest and do business in a country where even the sports players are not safe?
It is not about Islam either. Why are industries investing in Bangladesh and not Pakistan?
International teams would be playing next soccer world cup in Qatar (a supposedly “Islamic” country), while we beg for Bangladesh cricket team to visit us.
I am not desperate or depressed. I am angry at our apathy for the situation that is hurting us so much. You can say “sab acha hai” but that doesn’t change the realities.
Terrorists (those who kill innocents) are NOT causing the high price of utilities.
They are NOT making Pakistanis police being lazy.
They are not making landlords grabbing lands of poor people.
They are not asking politicians fighting each others for power and chair of PM-Ship.
They are NOT asking Pakistanis to do BhangRa and Halla-Gulla on streets to support a politician.
They are NOT asking Pakistanis to watch Indian Movies all night and sleep all day long.
They are NOT blowing places of worship of Non-Muslims despite being portrayed of “Extremist Muslims”?. Isn’t that interesting?
They are NOT killing non-Muslims in large number. Ain’t that interesting?
They are NOT blowing up places where acts of ‘sins’ are done as per their alleged connection of being again: “Extremist Muslims” like brothel houses, night clubs, alcohol factories etc.
…Isn’t that interesting?
**So why not focus on making Pakistan flourish with removing this mindset, and work on removing the biggest hurdle in making large population of Pakistan happy and stop crying about terrorism terrorism every breath?
Not denying there are people who are criminals and are hell bent on hurting Pakistanis and Pakistan, but there are other major problems/ real problems which need immediate attention and the news media and so called well-wishers of Pakistan have forgotten the basic problems of Pakistanis.
If you think there are bigger and more fundamental problems in Pakistan than hundreds of dead children, you are disillusioned to a great extent.
6 people were killed yesterday… people who were celebrating birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). YOU WANT ME TO BE HAPPY???** 6 of my countrymen LOST THEIR LIVES yesterday and you do not want me to talk about it??? HOW DARE YOU?
**
If you can be happy in these circumstances, I cannot say anything.
I’ll be happy to pay double the utility bills if somehow I can feel that my children going to school are safe and secure.
Don’t be so melodramatic to the point of showing your artificial love for Pakistan.
You sound EXACTLY like the fake signature of KKF after Peshawar sad event.
If you were to think of Pakistanis at large you would NOT argue after given so many reasons to support common Pakistanis and their day to day problems.
I know why. You want Pakistani Army not to ever find its way to fight against any aggression and its occupation of Kashmir by India. I am glad I got my message across to you in my last post.
