The way they humiliated colorado I wonder how come the series got to the seventh game....The defending champs must be having an off day or something...nevertheless, quite an embarrassing defeat for them.
YAAHHH Baby! I am just floating in the air..what a thrashing by Detroit. I think it was pay-back time after so many years losing to Colorado in the playoffs..and what heart and character shown by Detroit specially, after going down in the fifth game in OT- going back to Colorado and pulling the close to impossible shut-out and then, today’s game was just icing on the cake. I loved it man!! But, Colorado has a great team and they made this series totally exciting..the best team won at the end.
Hats off to Hasek for taking a huge salary cut and coming to Detroit just to win the Cup..and now he is so close to realizing his dream. Five shutouts in 02 playoffs season is the record
