Esecallum you sure are hung up on black and white . I'd love to hear your insights regarding the socio-ethnic cultural influrences in The Sesame Street movies. What do you think the subliminal message is between Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
And a moment of your time and opinion on National Velvet , Rin Tin Rin Movies.
I can hardly wait to read you critique also on THE FLY.
Re: I SAW KING KONG - I WAS SHOCKED !
Blacks are savages, whites are Barbarians . End of story. You stretch things way out of porportion . Another Anne Coulter you are . Ever see white Gorillas in National Geographic? King Kong is an oversized Gorilla , nothing more nothing less and they come in black. Now if King Kong ran around with a spear and shield than you might have an issue.

Racism happens - get over it.

The reason many view Alladin being a racist cartoon, isn't because of the basic plot lines, it's in the animation. If you compare the skin tone of Alladin, the Princess, and the Sultan, and compare it to Jafar and the Theif from the beginning of the film, the three "good guy" have a much lighter skin tone, and look more western, whereas the "villians" are darker skinned, and look much more arabic.
Also, in the opening song, sung by Robin Williams, the middle eastern culture us called Barbaric. The exact line is
quote: "I come from a land.... where they cut off your ears if they don't like your face. It's barbaric, but hey, it's home."
Another Disney films that has repeatedly come under fire for encouraging racist ideas is Peter Pan (the potrayal fo the Native Americans).
So the point, I think, is that there is racism in film, even today and in Kong its
rampant.
Jackson has managed to trick you by clevery making a very racist movie and passing it of as entertainment. The sad truth is you have all allowed yourself to be tricked.
