Re: I salute
Sara - i agree
~MuNiYa~ - LOL, yeah you're right. but unfortunately, mostly they do it cz they just "have to" as the inititor of the title mentioned. not by personal choice. this is why they regarded me as "old fashioned" cz i chose to wear it. if they could, they would rip it off at the first instance.
MQ just for you - i used to spray lots of perfumes, scents, body sprays. but that was years ago. now no attraction left in that. i hardly wear any scents now. only at special occasion or when im really really really happy which is rare. also, keeping clean is enough. perfumes are not important.
sabzi mandi - yeah it is not my first, 2nd or third langauge. is yours? what's the next question?

Re: I salute
TNW--- I was simply saying that people make a lot of silly assumptions about hijabans. They are completely wrong. Especially what I saw in this thread was ridiculous. I never even see my family unless Im dressed and look presentable - I dont even like to show them my morning hair - and its my own family. So you can imagine what I thought when I saw some of the replies in this thread. And trust me wearing a hijab or abaya is not old fashioned. People esp non muslims have loved my outfits esp with hijab. And unlike most people think, women wear hijab and abaya because they "want" to , not because they are expected to.We dont all have to go with the masses, I for one am quite happy dressing in a way that makes ME happy.

Re: I salute
you know u hear alot about girls being forced to wear hijab, but i've never met anyone who was "forced to" ..i certainly was NEVER forced even tho my mom wears a burka and dad's done hajj....when i wore it i showered and still wore makeup and same clothes as before, except with a jacket or somethign on top....
