Hello All! I received my Luscious Cosmetics products today and I’m better able to review them for you now that I have them rather than the ones my cousin showed me. I’m so excited!
-The eyeshadows are really velvety and colours really compliment my eyes…I got Limelight, Moss Green, Misty and Vanity. My favourite is vanity, it’s a magical pink toned brown.
-I got all the blushes. I think that’s one of their best products as they’re just like NARS.
-The lipsticks colours are much better than I expected…they look too dark on the website but are gorgeous…Chili (red) is amazing…looks really dark but when you apply it’s perfect.
AND..on a fluke I ordered a product called Whitening Protective Base SPF which I’m in love with…the description says it is a primer/sunblock/oil free moisturizer in one and I love the feel of it. It’s quite sophisticated for a desi company…almost Shiseido type texture. Don’t know yet if the whitening claim is true but it feels great and my skin looks good without foundation when I put it on.
Does anyone have info on more Luscious products? I’ve gone mad;)
I love the glosses. I have a peachy one( i think its called watermellon or smth) and a bronzish one. I also have a bronze lipstick. I like all my products too:). 'Chicken Biryani', you are making me hungry for biryani
i just checked their website, and their foundation colors made me really really mad. i mean it's a desi brand shouldn't they have more desi skin tone foundation shades than those really pale looking shades that might be too light even for palest goori NC 25 sorta girl.
Just came to know about Luscious Cosmetics “Get the Look” promotion. Each kit includes 6 Luscious products in a Free metallic clutch bag. Did anyone get this?
Lipstick:
really pigmented! like you need to wipe out 2-3 times to get the color out, which is good for long wear. i have three colors haute pink, rebel, breathless - unfortunately beathless was out of breath when it came lol i mean melted :S but its the best out of the bunch.
Lipgloss: i have one, cherry biscotti, i don’t like it because it has a too strong smell and taste of mint, like over board and plus the plumping thing means it tingles and pinches even more than brands abroad like too faced.
Foundation: cousin has it, its light in texture so it must have a good coverage, havent used it though.
Powder: again light and good coverage, cousin has it lol - i dare not switch away from my mac
i have one of those kits in smoky look..n i also have their whitening base n compact n honestly i like their stuff.the only prob is that whitening base looks odd when applied alone like i have to mixit with my vanishing cream otherwise it doesnt look natural..like the compact it gives u a medium coverage like mac studio fix
