I often wonder why emancipation of women

Mostly revolves around;

Her nudity

Her social mingling (Specially with opposite sex)

Her being blunt and so called bold

Her job and work ethics

Can it be that earliest proponents of women emancipation were licentious of the society who used the glittering words to entice her, to expose her to the society of hounds?

Had she not been emancipated in a way she been emancipated now would the average number of children born out of wedlock in so called western or western like societies be around 50%?

Has she really been freed or it is false perception created to use her in every manner she can be used?

Has she been emancipated or enslaved?

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

Why does it bother you ?

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

Though I did't use the word "bother", but now that you have brought it up...

why should it not bother me or for that matter anybody?

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

It should only bother you if it AFFECTS you.

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

I don't speak the philosophy of apathy. I am not disconnected from the society and have the ability to feel the pain of others, even when not suffering myself............................

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

the 'pain' of emancipated women?
how empathetic of you...

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

My friend it seems you don't have anything to offer to original post, thanks for your time.

Have fun

emancipated women seem to be doing quite well.. better than men their equivalents. they live happier and more balanced lives than most men. they have the best of both worlds: have all the opportunities in an equal world yet retain the advantages of traditional society.
They are no more 'enslaved' than men, if at all.

Im quite suspicious about the so called pain youre feeling. is it out of genuine concern for women or the fact that youre upset that they have too much power...they can do everything men can do but the opposite is not true.

secondly i really dont understand what you mean by 'use her in every possible way' and 'expose her to a society of hounds'

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

This so called emancipation of women, i'm sure has both the good and the bad with it, like any other thing/act/behavior in this world.

There is an inherent in human mentality if you look across the board. They're always looking for differences and based on those differences they will start saying "i'm holier than thou"...whether its GENDER, religion, culture, skin color or wealth. I think this whole gender war is also about that.

Living in the United States in this day and age, I'm allowed to go to school, learn the same information that the owners of this world are gaining (men). I can drive myself and my family to the doctor, lawyer, park, school, to eat, basically wherever I want. I dont have to have a man with me (As in Saudi Arabia) to do these basic things. If i choose to take off my clothes and use my nudity to gain some benefit i can, and if i choose to cover myself up and use other means i can do so. All that these emancipated women have is freedom...to do as they please. No one is telling you, you must dress and behave this way..as opposed to in a less emancipated country like Saudi, where i must wear all black, not vote (my voice isnt heard in politics because i dont have a brain).

I'm thankful for the men that were in power and for this emancipation compared to those that believe women should be locked up in your house and are there only for the husband's pleasure. Perhaps you should start looking at them as equal human beings as opposed to mindless creatures that must be protected by you. The law protects emancipated women...you cant touch them without their permission. If you rape them you will be punished (in our islamic countries the poor woman has to hide the fact that she was raped because she will become the scum of this earth, and no honorable man will marry her..)

sorry for this rant but i just came back from work and this stupid thread just set me off.

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

Yeah, we were obviously better off when we had little/no control over rights and access to education, work, even who we wanted to marry..

And love how you blame 'emancipated women' for illegitimate kids.. it does take two in case you hadn't noticed..

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

exactly and even if you do have the illegitimate child, it doesnt mean he gets away with it..there is such a thing as child support...so make sure before you go out and start planting the seed, in these emancipated countries, they can figure out who the baby daddy is and you will partly have to provide for this child..

secondly, even if the rate of illegitimate kids has increased, it doesnt mean they're demented and socially incapable children..given a normal functioning environment they will be grow up to healthy and normally functioning adults. Is your idea of a healthy family environment, one man with four wives who has 20 children with these women???

Re: I often wonder why emancipation of women

Omg...it was a conspiracy then?
