I think its good to pamper yourself but with modesty, that does not mean spending $100 on a lip gloss that your dad or mom pays for. Spend what you can afford.

It's great to pamper yourself :Pretty: It's not only about what you can afford but if you can afford to spend alot, make sure you're not draining your parents' hard-earned $...drain your own (that's what I do ;) )...hehehe...

I've never been a make-up wearing and jewelry wearing type of gal. To me taking care of myself means, staying in shape/working out, eating healthy, and keeping my skin looking clean and healthy. The whole 'spending half an hour on make-up' just doesn't work for me at all. But when I do it, like Saimanyc said, my parents go 'wah wah meri beti kitni pyaari' etc.

Some days I do like to pamper myself with a manicure and a pedicure, but besides that please leave me w/ my t-shirt and jeans :)

^ agreed :)

i like to work out and look after my skin.. which doesnt mean applying make up and other jargon..

give me some nice jeans and a sweat top.. and im happy :)

Well, it's not that I'm a tomboy... AT ALL. I like to get dolled up and all that. I just don't like to spend money to do it or maintain it. And I prefer the natural look to the doll any day.

I'm not, nor do I think I'll ever be, into advertising for different makes. I don't want to feel tied to what someone else thinks is fashionable. I like experimenting with my look, but not feeling pressured to buy what's in.

Also, what if I can afford it? Does that mean it's the best way to be spending my money? I mean, couldn't we spend our money and time on more productive things?

Mystical  i love u.. i found the store u were talking about (lt. collins street)

sahar, its good to experiment with ur look, i think it makes life interesting.. u can have one look for work, another for home, another for going out with ur mates.. :k:

and no, i dont think just cus u can afford it, u shoud be spending it.. i love sales!!

Sahar darling... apka inbox full hai..I couldnt reply. :(

All clear :D

Sahar if you were ‘that’ kind of a girl, I wouldnt have fallen in love with you.

Seriously I think you do manage the two quite well, you’re pretty ; I dont think you have to worry too much about being all ‘dolled’ up.And career wise you’re doing well too.

Aw, MQ. You are a sweetheart.
