I admire your patience..at 32 weeks I had the nursery ready, clothes washed and hung for him...bu then I started at 5 weeks. :)
Sahar has given you a great link..I used that as a guide as well.. know you plan to breastfeed but do buy a pump or do you plan to rent it from the hospital? It gets exhausting n if you can pump a bit n give it to someone else to feed him, you will get a break!
There is so much to buy for the lil one that i can go on forever...Do you have any specific questions? Ask away!
i posted on ur wall as well, if you need any help u can e-mail me too :) But do hurry and start getting everything together because u dont have much time and have tons to do.
GTG i was the same way. I had everything done by week 36...and was so bored in the evenings later on :)
Gtg i know i cant bleve i havent done anythng but im ion mat leave frm next week jnshallah so will start gettin everythng together
Rabia just saw ur message now on my wall soo happy for u congrats knce again!
Yes i plan to breatfeed but as im travellin to pak aaftr 6 weeks its an 8 hr flight from uk so i plan to express which pump would u recommend electric or manual??? Also what make in bottles r good? In uk we have avent n tomee tipee
Electric..mannal isn't going to work! I bought medela pump in style!
We are using tommee tippee right now because that was the only bottle my baby took at 2weeks but I see air bubbles In it n plan to switch to dr. Brown soon. The key with bottle feeding is a burp..we don't put him down until he burps after the bottle feed!
i'm 32 weeks pregnant n Alhumdulillah i have done all the shopping in 28th to 32nd week it was tooooo tough to walk around the malls to find perfect things (outifits specially) for baby......phewwww too tiring....so please do take good care of urself while shopping....take water bottles or orange juice n something to eat with u and take rest after every half an hour or more....goodluck!
i have the medela pump in style as well...and that wuld be perfect for travling as it comes with a battery charger as well.
I got three different types of bottles for him (have them ready before u leave for the hospital...the nipples require a boiling a little.) After trying all three, we ended up using Dr. Brown's )less gas.. but even the slow flow was too fast for my little one at first, but he got use to it.
make sure u have enough diapers at home, leak detection ones are the best at first. My son only used the newborn for a week or so and thn to size one...and in three months mA he is already in size 3..
Babycenter.com also has a really good list for things you need and that what i used to prepare.
I am done with almost all my shopping and I hit 35 weeks mark today AH. Now am having that freaking out, nervousness phase.
Lethargy and tiredness has also kicked in and the nursery is still not fully organised and set. I dont know where to start from :( I feel too energy deprived these days
