I am having a strange legacy in my life. There are two types of people in my family. Nanhyaal and dadhyaal have different set of genes intertwined. People differ from one another that I know so I am not touching this sociological issue. My bewilderment lies in a natural phenomenon and that is:-
My nanhyaal has a legacy of staying true to themselves, God fearing, Mosque going and generally very kind. Dadhyaalis are a bit materialistic who turn hypocrite sometimes to achieve their ends. Now I have seen that most of my nanhyaalis suffer a lot in terms of ‘aazmaish’ while dadhyaalis dont.
Fate has been strange to me. Mein ne kabhee bhee agar ghalatee kee to uskee sazza comes to me almost in a flash of the moment. I get punished right there right away. I also consider myself to be somewhat religious and kind to others. Have a very sensitive heart and cant see people suffering. Dont lie, cuz when I do I get caught no sooner than I have spoken it.
At times, I feel I am probably blessed cuz God almighty makes me repent here and soon too so these mistakes arent carried (they might be cuz I dont know whats the mechanism of the accountability there in Allah’s court. I do pray that He forgives me for the faults I have.)
My question is that when you notice such things to be there everytime you make a mistake, what do you consider it to be?
Am I blessed in anyway?
I think its a coincidence.There are so many sins we commit without realizing they were sins.I guess its great that you realize you've done wrong.
And I dont think you should stick all your relatives in two categories.There are all kinds of people , give them a chance.
the intent to repent is a blessing from allah and if you repent, then indeed that is a blessing on you from allah. may allah grant us the taufeeq to repent from all of our sins, the ones we did knowingly and the ones we committed unknowingly.
we are blessed to be muslims and should never take it for granted and continue to improve ourselves and that is inshallah the best way. but whenever we are tested in this world, we should increase our efforts to earn the akhirah and inshallah in that way, our affairs in this world will be settled according to what is best of us both in this world and the hereafter. inshallah.
and allah is the source of all blessings.
