for diarrhea, its the "BRAT" diet - bananas, rice, apples, toast.
for constipation, try psyllium husk, also sold as "Benefiber" and drink lots and lots of water. Prunes are also really good. If you dont like to eat them, you could get the baby food pureed prunes and make a smoothie.
