ok well i lost it in 3 months....i know its a short time span, however i was desperate because i was getting married.
i made home made veggie smoothies with abit of fruit which i drank for breakfast and lunch. i had a healthy well balanced small dinner...making sure it was light...so no heavy pasta or whatnot. i did have some olive oil with the stir frys but nothing too heavy.
i drank 2 to 3 litres water, i did have tea one cup a day with no sugar.
i went to the gym and did an hour on the aerobiccs classes AND i came home and did an hour on the treadmill...i also did situps pushups and all that toning exc at home..
and that was it.....i took multivit too...
:}
simple...its hard but you need to be dedicated. and whats good news is...
i went pak....i ate like a horse, ( had to due to dawats and outings) i enjoyed my food there, i came back and it was rozey so daily we had samosad pakorey and i weighed my self yday, and ive only put on 1lb.....1 BLOODY POUND.....IN 4 WEEKS OF EATING ALOT....
so im happy...im going to stop the fried stuff now aftr eid....however people say oh if you lose weight fast, you gain it faster, well im ok and ive beens stuffing my face....and only gained a lb.....
well, you lost weight the healthy and the right way, by exercising. So do just that, treadmill everyday and your usual sit ups etc. And as far as putting weight back on then you will if you stop running and exercising for a long period of time. So I would say just make your workout a habit and you'll do just fine.
Edit: also try to get into some kind of a sport. you'll get your usual workout done and it wont be boring either.
There really is no way to guarantee you wont lose weight off your chest if you start to drop pounds.
The only suggestion I have is making sure you're doing your cardio and work your lower body more then upper body. This doesnt mean you dont pay attention to your upper body, you still have to work it out but not as much as your lower.
i needs to lose about 15-20kg im getting married either easter next year or summer but will start shopping for my outfit in dec/jan therefore i have to lose all that in the next 4 months....
do u think its possble? i will be joining the gym as of monday inshalah and will be cutting out all junk food and just eating healthily
I can't even lose 4kg, so 19kg in 3 months is amazing
Do you think I could lose 4kg in 2months if I kept to my current diet (I've stopped having chocolate bars which were my biggest weakness) and I exercised 3 times a week 40 mins each day, then then speed walking for 1 hour everyday?
I did lose 2kg while I was in Pakistan and a bit during ramadan, but I feel as if I've put it all back on!
hey guys, forget jenny craig, sorry hashmat i know you mean well....i tried all sorts of these fancy peoples workouts and its just crap it tires you out and you can do and lose the same amount without killing yourself. these are trained to make you think their way is the only way its bull.
ok yes you can lose 4kg easily in 2 months. i lost that much for my wedding. so it was a big deal i dont want you guys to do this if your half heartedly tryin to lose it, or if theres no real emergency. trust me its strict.
my cousin did the same thing as me, but she lost less weight as she didnt do it as strictly as me. i drank my home made veggie smoothies for breakfast and lunch and had a carb free healthy dinner..while she had some carbs for dinner..so she lost 10kg in 3 months...erm thats 20lbs i think...i lost more.and i excercised 2 hour a day. with lots of water and a multivit.
you dont need to bust ur guts for 2 hours...i did walking for an hour, and aerobics for an hour...sometimes i only did the walking on treadmill with a plastic bag to excrete more sweat.trust me the plastic bag helped me shed lots more weight than i woudlve without.
wow nadz you are really an inspiration. I want to lose 10 kg but i need some kinda motivation to get up and work out. I'm trying to cut back on junk food and looking for healthy alternatives. Can you please share your recipe for the smoothies you made?? I'm sure a lot of ppl here would appreciate them :)
