I’m running an online store for Baby dresses. I need adive on how to generate organic likes for my page.
I know the oprion where you have to pay but I’ll use it to catapult it - once I get some traffic going for me. Any other suggestions? I’ve added all my friends and there’s no more likes coming.
Could anyone who’s started from scratch share their experince?
Re: I need help regarting facebook pages
The one idea that I can give is to give new users some discounts which would be without having to pay facebook for the side ads.

Thanks very much, I think it's a useful idea!
Re: I need help regarting facebook pages
Best way to get traffic and followers is to link an Instagram account with the Facebook page, so that everytime you post something on Instagram, it goes to Facebook too. On Instagram, start following other businesses and "regram" or repost their pictures and products on your page and they will return the favor. Start using relevant hashtags on Istagram so people can find you.
Ask your friends to constantly share and comment on your pictures so that it shows up on their timelines as well.
I have plenty of friends who have started various businesses following this model and they have skyrocketed.
Re: I need help regarting facebook pages
I generate a lot more business from Twitter than Facebook.. Got IG linked to that as well and as Khatti mentioned using the hashtags directs more people to you too..

Facebook is very tricky and even a bit sneaky because apparently a very small percentage of your users actually see your page show up on their news feeds. They want you to think that you have to pay to get more engagement from people but a lot of successful people told me that they actually have paid little to nothing and most of their likes come from other social media sites. Basically you have to be posting VERY regularly like at least once or twice a week! The more you post the more your page shows up on top of search engines because whether or not people like your page, a single click bumps up your post in Google and other places. Another great way is to contact mommy blogs and have them endorse your products, you'll have to send them free stuff but if you are just starting out that is the best way to start getting noticed. Contact all bloggers in your area locally forsure and then nationally. If you have an attractive website that is the best way to start getting noticed and will do wonders for your business. You don't have to pay a lot and can design an e commerce site yourself by using companies like wix, 4ormat, squarespace and search more options. It takes trial and error but it will really help launch you in the professional direction. Definitely have proper pictures of all of your products take and look into hosting a small exhibition in a collaboration with blogger and creating social media hype! Another tip is to exaggerate all your posts, like making things sound cooler than they really are. The idea is that if your excited about your products, other people will begin to notice too! It's not always about what your selling but sometimes HOW your selling it! Get business cards made and drop them off at daycares or wherever mommys shop and hangout. I would also post more on your page other than just about what your selling, things that relate to your business. Hope that helps! I've learned a lot since starting my business in weddings and it's all about the hype you create! People WILL begin to notice! You will have to stay updated and on top of things, it's a lot of work but a year of struggle will launch you in the right direction. :)

Thanks a lot SandS for taking the time to reply in such detail. I'll defenitely look into other social media sites. That's what I'm missing so far. Endorsements is what I'm working on but being a start, I'm having a hard time getting em. But hopefully it will start pouring in soon enough. Other aspects you mentioned also defenitelt need attention.
All you guys have been really helpful! I'm sure me and others like me would bemefit from this thread a lot!
