I need help Larkiyion

yep sorry, saw aunty types with this look at recent gatherings.
the younger generation has not really adopted this look though. Good for them I say

Now I'm a lil scared, I don't think I'm much of an aunty type and maybe we're all just a lil backward where I am, but when the dupatta has lots of work, I've always worn it the way MehnazQ/sweetpie suggested or over one shoulder and then, allowing it to sorta rest on my other arm from behind. Otherwise, I wear it sort of draped over my upper front if the shirt/kurti doesn't have much work on it, which I'm more comfortable with as it doesn't create a problem for those of us who like to move around without having to constantly worry about falling apart. It's kinda "in" where I'm at to wear it like a scarf, tied around your neck, too, but that kinda depletes the purpose of wearing a "dupatta" in the first place. I can't stand the whole hip thing, neither do I like it when it's twisted (unless there isn't much work on the outfit). I'm not too proud of it right now, but I did two years of what I'm almost sure was meant to be fashion design and still really can't think of any other semi-tasteful way to wear a dupatta so apparently I didnt learn very much and might actually fit MrFraudia's description of a wannabe.
