Thank you for the advice. Originally my boss was making me teach him everything and was putting me on the assistant work like scanning things. I have been working at the company longer and I have a degree. I don’t mind doing small stuff, I don’t think low if it because I know there are learning opportunities everywhere but I started to feel like while all my other co-workers were getting visibility among the upper management for their roles, I was stuck doing admin work like filing and I have been there longer then they have. On top this new guy was trying to outdo me so I scheduled a one-on-one meeting with my boss and told him nicely that I feel like my long-term goals are not progressing and that I need more exposure and visibility in my field. So he has agreed to start training me on a new role end of this month. Please pray for me.
