So weird.. I am Pakistani and you know the context i have used it in... This word should not be offensive because white people uses it... It is just an abbreviation for Pakistani... Just like Pakistan's abbreviation is Pak.

@OP, if someone asks you out then why can't you just be flattered and tell that person you are already in a relationship? And if you really find it to be such a big problem then why don't you just buy a ring (I have seen Wal-Mart selling fake engagement/wedding rings for $15 or something) and wear it??

Using racial slurs and derogatory terms is not cool, I doubt that a person so obtuse as to not know that this is a racial slur has a job, flipping burgers is not a real job.

This is coming as a surprise to me because no one has put a negative emphasis on this word in the USA. I just searched online how UK has banned this word. People are just strange because it is an abbreviation. I actually do not have Pakistani friends so I did not know. Don't get offended!
What is wrong with flipping burgers? I'd probably have to do it for others at home if the maid don't show up.... To put an extra info in ur head, I am a health conscious freak and doesn't consume burgers so working there isn't an option for me!

the heck.. i have said this before too about $ehar, Aneela etc, you seem to claim to be all posh ABCD and what not, and then write like urdu medium school kid. nothing wrong with that, but why all these lies about being rich and fabulous? 
Well wish ya best but don't ya think boasting about how many chaps hit on ya and want you badly is sign of ehsas kamtari. If they did..move on..if the person who wrote ya note is decent enough knowing ya're committed he wouldnt bother you. I'd never call myself ABCD regardless of being surrounded by goras but I am a proud Paki... WHOOPS Pakistani! I know my english isn't super great but I don't really need to be an expert in that lingo anyway. I thought this was an urdu gupshup. Allah has balanced out my life from other amazing ways and I wouldn't change it for anything... To all the haters, look at yourself first before pointing fingers at me. The person who is sending me a private message and harassing me must have an awful life which gives them the urge to stalk me... Go get a life.
The topic was about having a ring in my hand. Some people here are just too upset in their own lives. It just clearly shows how they want to hide their weaknesses by attacking others...
