Someone left me a note in my office saying "Hottie" ... I think I need a ring in my hand now. How do you people feel when you are committed and other people are hitting on u? I am now scared that I will get bunch of men at work expressing their love.... That note came as a surprise to me.

A ring will just make you more desireable. Men may approach less but will fantasize more. It wouldnt stop men from flirting. Only thing is approach is different. but ofcourse serious offers will no more be there.

^I think what she means is that some men will be deterred from approaching her because they'd fear confrontation with her husband...which is what the ring represents. And some might indeed be deterred. However, others might feel more encouraged as a ring can also mean no need for a commitment so "less work" in that sense.
