^I think what she means is that some men will be deterred from approaching her because they’d fear confrontation with her husband…which is what the ring represents. And some might indeed be deterred. However, others might feel more encouraged as a ring can also mean no need for a commitment so “less work” in that sense.

I must be that ugly that I dont have this issue. Either that, or I work in a professional environment.
