Anyone with a modicum of knowledge about missiles would be able to quickly identify these being Russian-made SA-3 Goa missiles, a medium altitude two-stage anti-aircraft missile. These missiles are an aging design, having been developed and deployed in the USSR during the 1950s.

Guys, have you noticed why that man infront is taking his clothes off? Maybe hes preparing to wear a dhoti... Unfortunately, all of these dhotis will come off when a Ghauri strikes...

As much as high spirits is a good thing, under-estimating the enemy is a foolish mistake.

That piece of ageing Soviet technology the Indians have in the picture is much longer ranged, much faster, and has a much much bigger warhead, than the Anza II does.

The SA-3 is a medium altitude defensive missile, whereas the Anza-II is low-altitude point defence system.

Pakistan has just inducted the Chinese-made LY-60 to perform the same role as the SA-3 does for India (the LY-60 is about 10-15 years more advanced than the SA-3 is). However, India has many more SA-3s than we have LY-60s.

The main issue will be the quality of the guidance equipment India uses for the missiles. Inshallah the PAF will have sufficient electronics to jam the radar guiding the missile, and / or decoys to draw off the missile.
