i still watch some but i used to watch alot before but they end up being so LONG and boring:bummer: but sme are interesting. i watch the Indian Kaajal and ELAS. thou i watch pak. dramas mostly cuz they finish quickly and the story isn’t as long.
do you guys watch ID’s?

I myself dont watch those stupid dramas being an indian. All of you are girls perhaps. This is the same problem over here also. All girls and women keep watching those buckwaas programs

excalty .. watz da difference? even actors r cummin in dramas .. wen dey cum den all u ppl who dnt watch it cum n sit in front of da tvs jus coz a actor is in dere.. wait till srk or kajol starts in a drama den i wanna heer u ppl say i dnt watch indian dramas.. dey r bukwaaz ..

dramas r dramas okay .. dnt hate dem coz dere indian dats lyke hatin everything dat belongs to india
if something is enjoyable.. story .. meaningful den we watch it

we dnt care wat cultural it belongs too okay

It is buckwaas…right from the beginning of those serials what will be there?..One divorces and marries another, again divorces that guy also and comes back to first husband and goes with another after some time. Time pass years pass decades pass…even the great great grandmas don’t die and they keep looking young. Even if some die, he will somehow come alive after some time. Even the advertisements that come are crap. and we cannot see any other programs because of it. Movies atleast they end, but in this case, the end time is infinity.:naraz:

movies are different to dramas,
indian dramas just go round and round in circles, the whole story is focused on one women and one man who get married then break up then get back toghere then break up again and then get back togeher again and so on. its useless.

I agree.. Iam indian and i do find the serials addictive.. i had stopped watching as i got bored and the story never ends.. But then something new comes up and u get hooked on to another serial and the addiction never ends.. Thank god iam in US.

Indian serials are generally targetted towards women(haha) especially housewives who have the afternoons free. Usually the serials are repeat telecasted in the afternoon. Technically the standards are superior and the costumes, women are beautiful. and the story does starts off well and acting is also good except for the zooming then they do.. but say after a year or so everything changes and story is different , some other girl plays the main character and so on and forth.. still fun..

i dont watch them regulary but i end up watching them if i m free/bored...there r few dramas that at times do have interesting episodes but they r dragged 2 much...i mean come on it was a sigh of relief when that kashish wala drama got over though people liked it but every1 was happy when it ended cuz they were getting bored with it.....

A simple thing such as going to a friends birthday can extend to cover at least a couple of weeks. It may (will) include shopping for clothes, birthday gifts, at least 4 episodes showing the preparations on the day of the event itself. Maybe some minor incidents thrown in to prolong it even further, like getting mugged in the mall, power failure, glittering girls all made up being shown in candle light (because of power failure :hehe: )

People who watch these marathon tele dramas have superhuman shakti :salute:

I can not tolerate these dramas at all - my mother at times insists to watch it just to know what happened and all but then even she gives up.. i started watching three sahara channel dramas, solah singar and woh rehne wali mehlo ki along with kuch apne kuch parayeh but man they didnt seem to end so i stopped watching them...meray bardasht kay bahir hain - there seems to be some problem or the other in every episode and then the camera going on on every person's face with sound effects annoys me so much like ek news batanay mein its takes them a week ;S thats why i just watch a few pakistani drama's like makaan on Geo which was an amazing drama so much like the real life and now kuch dil ne kaha is good but lets see if its as good...

well i dont watch the serials and all, but some times to pass the time have to, what can be done ???? not that all the serials have the same story. there was jassi jasi koi nahi, h=there is viruddha, there was remix,sas(not mother-in-law but breath), khichri,sarabhai vs sarabhai, CID etc etc. and to end the saas-bahu sagas, just plot ekta kapoor's death. but if she survives, let me warn u, she will make a new serial out of that !! with some glycirine tears, saas-bahus, designer cloths etc etc.
