Just like posters count have gone down, we dont have a regiment of mods either like it used to be back then. A handful of mods still do their best and I’m thankful to them for everything they do “voluntarily”.
You mentioned back in the day thing, at that time most of the mods were either students or those who still had lots of time. Now most of the mods have a life (not everyone is farigh like me lol). They are mostly occupied with the personal stuff and its fine. But once again I trust them and they’ll do more hopefully.
Overall my message to everyone is very simple. We put a lot of trust in our posters. When you login, all you need to do is post responsibly, be mindful of others and at the same time more tolerant as well. i.e. Be your own mod. Is that too much to ask? I dont think so.
But forums no longer work in this day and age, thanks to sites like Reddit. I was surprised that this site is as active as it is, maybe because its serves a very particular kind of niche, but that too only barely. I mean there are facebook groups like subtle curry traits that serve a vaguely similar demographic.
Its nostalgia that’s keeping this place alive, and I doubt that gen z would be interested in online forums anymore. G.S. is relic of our time, when MSN & Yahoo messengers were a thing, a time when we didn’t have Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and other online community based platforms that enable people to share their opinions and have discussions on topics of mutual interests.
Some of the most active forums online are dying. I remember I use to be quite active on several forums about 10-20 years ago, places like Ferrari Chat, 6speed Online, NSX Prime, RennSports, etc… all of those forums have either died, or are in the process of a slow death.
I’m more than happy with the way G.S. is, so long as I can log in to this place every once in a while and reminisce about the “good times”. So, as far as I’m concerned, I absolutely agree with @SID_NY’s position.
Attract people with high standard or quality posts. Not the numbers of posts.
Please do not allow irrelevant, low class/Bazaari/ and substandard posts.

There is nothing in the director’s Sahab posts above which can be agreed upon on a good logic by the people who want to be here for nice and refreshing experience.

Ever since the "hack" issue and passwords being reset, you have lost a good chunk of contributing members from what was left in the aftermath of a decaying forum.
Now even a modern day Ertugrul cant even resurrect it.

There is some truth to that.
But there are some who may have been flushed out deliberately.
Hope that good ones and,… NOT nasty/obnoxious/treacherous/inciteful/wicked/hateful members,… can create account or ‘resurrect’ themselves with the help of admin team I hope.
