For some reason, I was craving Karachi on Saturday. I wanted to once again experience the craziness of the place. Then I had to remind myself how I wanted to come home the minute I landed there and how much I sobbed.

I haven't been there since I was three. Now I'm scared that my kids would get sick if I took them. So I probably won't go until they're teens.

yeah I'm going to try and be extra careful and not get sick. I was sick for about a week when I was there - terrible stuff!

That would not be good. Is it eating the restaurant food, the water? What is it exactly that cause that flu like, diarrhea, vomiting sickness?

I drank that nestle water, ate out at really good resturants, i even made ice and made them cook with bottled water but i STILL got sick.

I don;t like visiting pakistan. Everything feels damp or dusty, relatives r too squeaky. Only thing I like is the clothes and jewelry bit :hula: and ramazan and Eid, thats it.

i've always associated a smell with pk.... i dunno how to describe but its not nasty and its not nice either. u know when u have relations from pk visiting u when they open their luggage there's this smell. and tats wat i call da smell of pk. :D
