i dont know that is why i asked na …but i dont think that marriage is the solution of ur love, cuz see if u love someone then u always pray for their comfort, and sometimes u also pray that they get better gal/guy than u.
but many times u also believe that u r the only one who can pray for his comfort…which turned out disastrous

find something else that you can become engrossed in.
note that I said something and not someone.
it's always difficult for the first year or so.....depending on how long you allowed yourself the luxury of living in this dream.
sometimes it helps to focus on why you can't get together rather than how well you fit together........remind yourself of the reasons why you have made choice you have and then think about all the positive reasons you did so........
shift your thinking from how you feel now to how you will feel 5 years from now when you are attached to the person that you believe you should be......
it's not easy.
but you are not a weak person......we both know that.

but marriage is a religious occasion where two souls are united on the name of ALLAH SWT, and there are some requirements such as a muslim can only marry a muslim.
so does it make any difference in this unconditional relationship that whether u are married to him or not?

Cat: When you realize that a relationship in not going to work out, still its hard to get out of it but the suffering is well worth it. You should always put things in scenarios - if you two decided to go ahead and get married against all odds, it could have been a life long suffering, its not easy (and not worth it at all) to be rejected by your family. You have done the right thing. Its a tough phase but it all passes. Life goes on, and what is a feeling today will be history tomorrow. Keep the spirits high girl :)

I believe marriage is a personal act, although its a necessity if you want to maintain a moral culture, and religion has given very clear guidelines for it. A set of guidelines to get the best out of it. W'Allaho Aalam.
