kya zamana tha… i used to have cuts all over my hands … i miss those old days … i wanna fly a kite with tandi or chemical or 7 paande or 8 chain or talwaar maarka lol.. ( those are the name of dors )…
i used to be a lutera back in pakistan… used to run after kites A LOT ! 
i had like 10 - 12 friends who were also lutere’s.. we used to run after kites together… aaahhhhhh * sighz* and then trade the kites … 
ooooooooo yeaaaahhhhhhh those good days…will never forget it..

A very Indian day of celebration that Pakistan also adopted. I never did learn to fly a kite but it was enjoyable at times watching the skies over Lahore fill up with kites of all sizes and shapes.
On the flip side due to the negligence of people and the abundance of the sharp thread they use to fly the kite ( dour ), many accidents happen. People get cut pretty badly and there has been deaths due to bleeding and aslo a few decaputations due to this day.

i used to fly kites ..in dowtown lahore... ( mochi darwaaza ... dehli gate .. chaburji ...etc..)
i absolutely love kites.. i dont care what u say fayax..:) some people just dont have respect for poor kites..

I never learned how to fly a kite either,
but then again not many girls fly em anyways.
Do have some cool memories from my childhood of
basant and Lahore.
