Yes i am. I m a corporate whore. I took up consulting because i wanted to see the world. Be all jet set but the charm is fading off fairly rapidly. i worked 14 hours yesterday, not including the 2 hour flight delay…2 hour 34 mins flight back from the client site… 1 hour 20 mins spent in transit, ridding in the taxi to the departing airport and coming back from the arriving airport. I have had exactly 3 hours of sleep in the past 48 hours. But i didnt pay a single penny for my food, limos, and flights. Welcome to the world of consulting.
Gammay, either u will become a senior manager were u have more day trips to more client sites and not to the same client week in week out, or you will join the industry.

Agreed, been there. Then I moved from being a consultant whore to a corporate whore and worked in health care information technology for years, got sick of that, now work in higher ed/academic info tech, that’s the best, GREAT hours, relaxed (read no tie), and excellent pay and benefits. Next stop, retirement.
I didn't do as in the same capacity as you but few years back I did it in technical capacity enjoyed few months & when saw a lot of places (different countries) I dropped the altogether. Free travelling / food / hired cars .... great mood :) & I had day trips (remember I was a technical whore .... ahahahaaa .... we ran the real business instead of meer talk.)
