I love you

Re: I love you

It might be most spoken, but we don’t have much exposure to it while living in Karachi. We come to listen only scripted Punjabi. Last week, there was a report on a news tv channel about consumption of gola ganda in summer at various schools of Faisalabad. None of the children expressed their excitement in Punajbi :naraz:

Re: I love you

Especially if you are Punjabi, hehe.

But I still changed the word. Punjabis can be refined too, you know. :hypo:

Re: I love you

Not just Punajbis, but other people like Sindhis also mispronounce these Arabic and Persian heavy weight words. Ishq is Ishaq.

Prem is still alive in Sindhi vocabulary thanks to Sindhi newspapers who report love birds as ‘premi joRa’

Re: I love you

I love you too :p

Re: I love you

How did you repeat that in Balochi

Re: I love you

Will ask my wife…this would be the test of her balochi as well. :smokin:

Re: I love you

Aap ko, hum pasand kartay hain
Aap pe, jaan-o-dil se martay hain
Kahiyay kahiyay aap ka iraada hai kiyaa

Re: I love you

Mairi pasand tun aen, tairi pasand main aan

Re: I love you

Pyaar sounds Bollywood dialogue… :5:

Re: I love you

Lol. The word “mahshoqa” means loved one in Dari but isn’t commonly used as it is quite poetic and rather “filmy.”

Re: I love you

my mother tongue is punjabi.

Re: I love you

And your father tongue ? :chai:

Re: I love you

My mother tongue is too long and my father tongue is so small that he don't even speak- definition of mother/father tongue by jatt :D

Re: I love you

Any update? :cobra:

BTW, if mother’s mother tongue is Balochi, Father’s mother tongue is Urdu… How the children will took decision and select their mother tongue? father’s mother tongue or mothers’s mother tongue? :halo: :rotato:
