Re: I Love You
I guess what I am trying to figure out is…do these words mean anything? Are they that valuable?
And what I get from these posts and from my parents’ marriage…is that they’re not.
How do people really express love? By their actions…but our society has conditioned us in a way where our minds don’t rest until we hear those magic words from someone or say them.
I think you’ve got something there…I like that.
Aw madzy…so sweet of you to stick up for me ![]()
Xtron se to dosti hai…fikar not.

even if i say it , the words seem hollow to me
Re: I Love You
Love is something which Allah puts between the hearts' of the husband and wife from his mercy. Anything before marriage is lust and it comes from the shaytaan.
Err no.. There's a famous hadith which basically says 'there is no better thing for two people in love than to marry'..
Contrary to cultural beliefs love before marriage in itself is not evil..
Re: I Love You
I was just gonna say that.
Re: I Love You
when she tells me "I love you" at 4pm on week days, I ask her "Acha ...kitni tandoori roti lani heen?"
On serious note, "I love you" can be said or can be displayed by other behavior. Her caring behavior behavior everyday is so reassuring that I do not feel the need to hear this every single day.
Re: I Love You
Damn! This lady is sanity personified. Redvalvet, you have the best advice and a lot of patience in even trollish threads. Wish I had the same clarity of thought and ability to articulate those thoughts. Bravo :k:
