Allah is Allah not human. We shouldnt love him like a insan but love em much more than that, i.e. when hazrat ibrahim had to slaughter his son, love of Allah had priority over love of son. Love of Allah doesnt mean u sit there and write poems or send Him cards or choclates, you show love of Allah in your actions, in your prayers and in private while doing dua. Oh and dont forget to thank Allah, thats the best way to show love.

true thats why i didnt say not to do it...but there are things that are Fard on us and thats the first thing we should work on, Allahs love and fear should be in our hearts.

are you pointin’ towards prayin’ and other stuff? The way Loading please wait expressed his feelin’ towards Allah (s.w.t) is no less than a Fard. It is his best way to to do Zikr of Allah (s.w.t) and only HE knows what is Fard and what is not. Sure prayin’ should be his priority but thats between him and Allah and none of our business. We at least should join this dude to praise Allah publicly like that, which not many people do nowadays.

^ Thanks a lot. I am glad you got my point. We should show our love regardless of praying too. Prayers ARE due and we should not skip them. But, Love needs something else. So, dont hasitate to show your love to Allah....the most beneficient, the most merciful.
