I love listening to compulsive liars

:hehe:

So we were on our way to my friends house, when I stopped at a gas station. I was with my friend Tony, and I was in line to pay for the gas while he was grabbing some grub. So who comes in but an old acquaintance from our high school, Corey.

Now the great thing about Corey, is that there is absolutely no shame in his game. He will tell you the flat out most ridiculous lie you’ve ever heard, and expect you to believe it. Now all in all the kid’s a nice person, so I’m not too hard on him. Even though his constant bull**** does annoy me. This kid has told me tall tales ranging from him having Twista (he’s a famous rapper, for those who don’t know) perform for weed and beer (not money…weed and beer) in his backyard, to him being scouted to play D1 ball at a big school (I forget if it was Kansas or Kentucky, it started with a K) even though he never played ball in high school. He said it was while he was playing a pick up game at the park and a guy there was a scout and thought he was talented. :rotfl:

Anyways…

So me and Tony start talking to Corey, just making small talk. I asked him how he’s been, he does the same. It was all pleasant. Then Corey tells me about his crazy night “last night”. Now, as Corey usually does, he loves to talk about how much of a blast he had somewhere and how cool it was. So Corey went on to talk about how cool this party was. But then he hits me with the jawdropper: Corey tells me he drank 58 cans of Budweiser last night, from 8:00 (when he says the party started) to about 3 in the morning. :hehe:

I couldn’t help but laugh in his face. Usually, I’ll let him tell his stories, because I realize he’s a troubled kid and he probably gets a little enjoyment out of thinking people believe these things…but this time I just couldn’t help it.

I told him that there was no possible way he drank that many beers. Tony agreed. But he wouldn’t let up. He goes on telling me how it was all true. The best part is that we got the guy at the cash register in on the conversation and he was totally calling bull****. It was like something out of a movie.

As much crap as he was feeding us, I actually enjoyed the experience. Because it is incredibly funny to hear these stories. And I think it gave me a sense of nostalgia hearing some classic Corey bull**** from back in my high school days.

Now everybody knows a Corey. He’s in every neighborhood. In every school. What were the best “stories” you heard from a Corey?
