omg noor, they weigh SO much! i need a heavy duty back stopper to keep them from falling off. i’ll post a pic here when i go home. they looked amazing when i first saw them in the store and i bought them even though they were like 40 bucks :bummer:

yeah thats what i am talking about!.. even though dekhne mein it doesnt seem that heavy.. but i can imagine how ur ears will look like after wearing those a whole day :D.. aaauuuuch!

I need pictures of Jhomar's, and how their worn-

  • Do they have to be exactly the same as the entire bridal set? -What are their styles etc

My jhoomer was different. It was my nani's one from her wedding -- a kundan one with green accents. All of her bahus wore it, and I was the first granddaughter to wear it. My cousin also wore it on her wedding. It's become a sort of tradition.

My own set was rubies, and i was afraid it would look odd, but it didn't! It actually looked cute.

You wear the jhoomer on the left.

Thanx... I like the idea of wearing my grandmother or my mothers Jhomaar, but I was just scared how it would look, cuz my set and earings are different... I was thinking of getting my Tikka made according to the Jhomaar.. So that my teeka and jhomaar are the same and my set and earings are the same.. Instead of my Teeka and Jhomar being different..

I wasn’t a bride but couldn’t wait to wear one so i went for it, and got lots of compliments. A few aunties were like beta it should be by your eye and i was like well i’m not a bride just wanted a pretty ornament in my hair (kinda like those jeweled flowers people wear) so i liked it

im kinda in a dilema…it my cuzin weddin n am the bridesmaid…this is the hairstyle i will b doing…

now iv bin told to wear a crystle jhoomar on the side coz i wont b wearing a neclace or owt…jus wanted 2 know wat u guys think…
