Jab raat ki nagin dasti hai
Nas nas zehar utar’ta hai
Jab chaand ki kirnain taizi se
Is dil ko cheer ke aati hai
Jab aankh ke ander hi aansoo
Zanjeeroon mein bandh jaatay hain
Sab jazboo per chaah jaatay hain
Tab yaad bahut tum atay ho

Jab dard ki jhanjhar bajti hai
Jab raqs ghamoon ka hota hai
Khwaaboon ki taal pe saray dukh
Wehshat ke saaz bajaatay hain
Gaatay hain khwahish ki lay mein
Masti mein jhoomtay jatay hain
Sab jazboo per chaah jatay hain
Tab yaad bahut tum aatay ho
