The batting lineup is a little too over-experienced in my opinion… with the likes of Malik, Farhat, Akmal, Misbah. It’s an over-correction on the part of the current selection committee who’ve opted for experience over talent/form.
Also while I am a very strong supporter of Misbah as a key player in the team, I’m not sure about the effect of his batting philosophy over the team. What works for him may not work for everyone and if it’s taking away from the batsman’s natural game, then things need to change. I hope Misbah isn’t implicitly coaching or advising players to play a certain way.
