I just would like to know....

Re: I just would like to know....

they are between the ages of 17 and 35 not 25.and a few of them aree women too ,one of them is a pregnant woman.70% of muslims living in the u.k are of Pakistani origin. Most of these don;t even understand the history behind the conflict in the middle east, they are so brain washed. They want to fight for a group of people who their own people like saudi, jordanians don't give a damn about.Saudia is anti-hezbollah and wants to see it dismantled just as much as Israel and America does.As for Palestinians do you think these oil rich arab countries with so much land and money can't afford to invite palestinians to come and live with them or give them immigration?after all thats what Pakistan did for Afghanis when they were invaded by the soviets and Pakistan is an overpopulated 3rd world country.guess what ?they can, but they don't want to,thats how mean these arabs are.

Re: I just would like to know....

omgg a pregnant womannnn???
she must b crazyy

Re: I just would like to know....

This is simply fashionable behavior. Everybody wants to be a jihadi. It is perceived as noble and honorable. You get to do a cool video and behave like a martyr. Until people who do this become pariahs, this behavior will continue. It is a cool thing to do, and there is no strong societal control against it within their communities. It is fashionable. 50 years ago it was fashiohable for American kids to be Communists and Black Panthers, and SDS, and all sorts of Anti-Authority groups. It is rebellion.

Re: I just would like to know....

Jihad is not a bad thing buddy, anyways these people don't understand that killing innocent people is not allowed in Islam. Kill the soldiers, not the civilians.

Re: I just would like to know....

It's a question of association Muzna, Spain has Morrocons, france has Arabs from the Maghreb, england has pakistan the US has the persian gulf. The historical linkages of immiration and conquest are there hence the sense of automatic grievence. As far as why Pakistanis..thats more complicated.

Re: I just would like to know....

Pakistani people involved ? May be of Pakistani origin but so far No Pakistani is involved in any terror attacks in UK. I know I know, u all will start giving me a lecture now :)

Re: I just would like to know....

^ well no lectures but there is some link to Pakistan. They went there for training, support, blessings from other idiots I dunno whatever, but some Pakistani idiots are directly or indirectly involved (could also be arabs iding out in Pakistan). Now it does not change the fact that the brits of pakistani descent are UKs problem and not Pakistans.

The fact remains there is a problem, that needs to be tackled. It needs to be tackled by our community and it needs to be tackled by the UK government. deport hate moger visiting 'imams', make some of the crap like such brainwashing illegal, ban some groups, keep an eye on others, provide opportunities, make racism a crime that is more strictly checked against...

Re: I just would like to know....

ironically those people who warned the pakistani government of the price that would be paid for allowing these jihadis in and blindly supporting the US inthe 1980's were branded traitors and smeared in pakistan.

Re: I just would like to know....

I know that in many countries and communities extremists elements are present but they are not a threat to their society as they are to Pakistan. It not only gives us the bad publicity but also makes the argument of having extremist elements in our army, nuclear and government that is only going to hurt us. They are putting our security at stake and as much as I like to have freedom of speech in my country, I am in no way a fan of rallies about burning flags, effigies and “Death to Israel and America or our government”. These rallies must be discouraged, this is because they will not say a thing when Iraqis die on about 100 a day or in Darfur, where the situation is worsening everyday.

If we have a problem with United States, Israel or our own government, I would like the same people to organize politically and have platform that gives us solutions rather ridiculous rampage of anger and disgust. This is not going to make Pakistan a better place rather only divides the ever tense and polarized nation. I am not saying that United States and others foreign policies are just but there is a way to argue and protest it and this certainly is not the way. Look how Martin Luther King and Malcolm X talked about civilian rights in America, look how they opposed injustice and racism in America. We need to understand that strong arguments, examples and positive actions make the difference whether it is fighting racism, extremism or injustice.

Re: I just would like to know....

Just this sher I can recall at this point.

Though I hate sher-o-shaeri

Amal say zindagi banti hai jannat bhi, jahannum bhi
Yeh khaki apni fitrat main nah noori hai nah nari hai

Re: I just would like to know....

Assuming there is substance behind the claims....I suspect most of them would be freed within days....then the reason for Pakistanis being involved is that they are one of the largest and oldest established community of muslims in the UK. The Pakistani community unlike many other communities is spread all over the country, rather than just being concentrated in London. They have suffered discrimation and the second and third generation Pakistanis feel alienated from the mainstream, and unlike the first generation they have british mentality and are prepared to fight back as opposed to remaining quiet.

Re: I just would like to know....

Whatever is happening is certainly beyond comprehension.

I fail to understand how any Muslim could be involved in such heinous activities. I fail to understand how anyone could justify such non-sense in the light of Islam. I don't ever remember coming across anything that even remotely suggests that it's okay to go kill random human beings.

Do those who are involved in such activities have no brains or are they truly brainwashed?

Such behaviour is extremely disturbing. If any of it is true, then such individuals need to be institutionalized.

Re: I just would like to know....

Maybe those two guys were placed there purposely for the Pakistanis to discover, from what I’ve heard of how sophisticated (sarcasm) our intelligence agencies are I can’t really see them uncovering something like that. They think they’ve discovered this great plot themselves when in actual fact it was all set up by Brits for them and they were lead to it. Ullu ban gaey, issi ghalat fehmi mein khush ho rahey hain ke ham barrey aqal mand hain.

I know most of you would turn your nose up at my conspiracy theories but these Brits have employed these sort of tactics before, very cunning people, us fools just like to turn a blind eye to history and don't learn nothing.

When the Muslim freedom fighters in Brit occupied India were fighting Brits for independence the Brits would get their own soldiers to loot and plunder villages and slaughter Indians and then leave the emblem/sign of the freedom fighters at the site of the crime to malign the freedom fighters and cause hatred amongst the Indians for their own freedom fighters, why would they kill their own people whose freedom they wanted when it was the British who were their enemies? We see the same today in Iraq, Iraqis supposedly killing Iraqis because they are angry at American occupation, ok I admit we all have our internal problems but at times like these isn't it human nature to unite against the common enemy? If it was Iraqis wouldn't they be targeting American troops instead of their own people? There's a saying amongst my people "even the dogs of a neighbourhood abandon fighting each other when a dog from another neighbourhood trespasses on their territory and they drive it out together”.

Re: I just would like to know....

The world too must be noticing this trend of too many Pakistani's being involved in such terrorist activities.

I think Ohioguy has is correct: They precieve themselves as Noble & true Muslims, and see nothing bad in killing innocent people. Even their society makes them into Martyrs and their families are looked after financially & respected.

The only way is to control the teachings by the clerics & Mullas, and they must be made to understand what preaching is acceptable & what is not acceptable in today's society.

Re: I just would like to know....

correction..what preaching is acceptable and not acceptable..period. whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong..now, then and in future.
