Shoaib has big bent in his arm, its not hyperextension.
So has Harbhajan.
Both chuck, its so clear from the super slow motion.

Re: I have to admit
Icono, Cricket needs some changes anyway. It's just some degrees difference, but their execution is still cricket like.
I wouldn't care much.
Re: I have to admit
or you can say, cricket is not same anymore. I would have loved to see all clean action, but with the comercial hits like Akhtar, Murali, Harbajhan and many new comers like RP Singh and Shabbir, ICC had to ease up the rule a little bit.
Re: I have to admit
Well it may "seem" like it Icon. But there are professionals who get paid tens of thousands of dollars. They are mandated by the ICC and individual cricket boards. They have much better technology than the super slow mo that we see on TV.
They have procedures to figure it out and its not like they clear everybody. They did not clear Shabir, so super slow mo to the untrained eye maye "seem" like it but we are not trained professionals.

How did you come up with RP Singh?
Re: I have to admit
Call it chucking, hyperextension or whatever, you need talent, skill and ability first and foremost. It's like saying you can get the ball to reverse-swing by picking at the seam of the ball. If it was that easy then every third-rate club bowler would become a world-class bowler. Murali has 700+ wickets and is on the verge of a world record. I just don't accept that hyperextension alone made him the great bowler that he is. It cannot give someone so big an advantage that they transform from a zero bowler into a hero bowler.

RP Singh has a shoaib akhtar like arm but his arm doesnt bend as much as akhtar's
Re: I have to admit
It is hyperextension you shmucks. Look at his arm as he delivers the ball, not when he has the ball in his hands before delivering the ball. It's a f'ing illusion, where his arm seems bent at the exact time the ball leaves the hand in real-time motion, but his arm actually straightens at the time of delivery when you look at it in ultra-motion. Pay some attention next time, andhay saaray ke saaray.

Yar game rehnay day they will never learn. No matter what happens, people always will find a new topic to discuss about Shoaib. If they dont find something new, then they come back to old issues. Dunya Gol Hay ![]()

yes thats true
but i dont think his bowling action has been questioned unlike all the others in that list
Re: I have to admit
^^ Micheal holding raised his concerns about RP Sign many times, he was literally instructing ICC to take actions.
RP's arms have more hyper extension than Shoaib for sure.
About Shoaib, enough of the topic, he has been cleared many a times and that it.
If players like Murali can play, then Shoaib is not even near 1% of him.

Have u seen that Holding's analysis . he totally approved RPs action .It is theer in Youtube . Shoaib ,and Bhajji ...i would suggest testing on match conditions. When the pressure is on ,and when u r trying to prove ....

I remember that analysis well. Holding pointed out even though RP has a hyperextension his action shows no horizontal deviation i.e. it looks just fine. Shoaib's on the other hand looks total chuck.
Re: I have to admit
shoaib chucks...simple as that...clearance from ICC or any other university doesn't mean he does no chucks. few slow motions shown in this test match clearly shows shoaib is chucking. it was even pointed out by rameez (i know his say doesn't matter much but what shoaib was doing was there for all to see and judge).

Calling every one andhay won't help .What abt a testing under match condition when the heat is really on? I mean how do we know if he chucks one or two deliveries while the match is going on . Every thing can't be blame it on the optical illusion .
Again i saw u calling Murli a cheat ,based on what ?He was also cleared by the biomechanics in the Australian university.

*Anus sahab,
You are an andha if you saw the video posted above and you still don't believe Shoaib has hyperextension of the highest order. Look at his elbow at the exact time he delivers the ball next time you are watching your fancy ultramotion replays and waiting to scream out "chucker" just because he can go through your "walls" every now and then :) .*

*I called him a cheat before he was even examined, by the way. If he has been cleared, I have no problems whatsoever. *
Re: I have to admit
I think chuckers have always been around but bcoz Shoaib and Murali are more succesful bowlers they get more attention.
Prabharker was a big chucker whom Sunil Gavaskar always defended. But nobody cared much about him coz he was mediocre.
And i agree, like someone said, not every bowler can become good even if he tries to chuck.
