The manufacturers are in UK. I called a locksmith - I guess it is a lucrative profession now; they are charging 75 an hour, plus 45 dollars to come to my place to do it. They said, because of the brand, the only thing they can do is “destroy it”.

Now I need tips about how to destroy it.

When they say “destroy it”, it means that they will use specialised equipment to force it open and thus destroy the locking mechanism.

I severely doubt that you’d have whatever equipment they’ll be using (be it some specialist tool or simply lots of muscle power.

Could you take the safe to them and save the $45 callout fee, so you just pay the $75?
