IM SCREAMING CZ THIS IS FRUSTRATING.

I USED A DIFFERENT PC TO REPLY TO A THREAD. IT ASKED ME TO SIGN IN BEFORE REPLYING. I DID. TYPED STORIES IN MY POST. TOO LENGTHY… THEN PRESSED “POST NOW”… ONLY TO SEE THE PAGE ASKING ME TO SING IN AGAIN. WHEN I DID, ALL THAT I HAD TYPED HAD DISAPPEARED!!! WHYYYYYY???

AND I cant enter digichat…

I want an answer!!!

ALSO............. I tried so much for 3 hours to keep signing in and trying to post all over again, IT DID NOT LET ME... I tried to use PMs, it didnt work... it kept asking me to sign in. And this all happened at a brand new pc I have purchased for home and planned to post at gupshup from there. Now does that mean I would never be able to use my new pc to post?

I think you have to fiddle with your cookies or securities settings.

How do I do that. It is Win xp. Ive never used it before only 98. I just changed my position and it asked me to sign in again. I hope Im able to post this :bummer:

Thanks Faisal, Ive not gone through the link. I would. I tried to respond to your reply soon after my reply to... oh who is that poster to told me to fiddle with cookies... but it kept telling me the same thing. Although, Im at work now and just changed my position.

oh, that happens to me sometimes when i restart my computer and my history and cookies are cleared. i think it takes a few minutes for cookies to take effect once u sign in. it's wery frustrating tho

Heyyyyyy.... Im facing anew prblm now...

I cant use smilies... I mean I cant open the list of smilies to use them. I keep clicking "List All Smilies" but it doesnt open it :(

AND... I also cannot view the list of the guppies who have replied to a thread... why is this happeneing??? Someone please let me know!!!!

You may have installed a pop-up blocker. Keep the 'Ctrl' key pressed while you click on the list of smilies, and see if it solves the problem.

Faisal, I just tried. No, it didnt help… what else can I do?? I only remember two smilies by heart :bummer: and :smiley: abhi in hi dono se kaam chala rahi hun… I kept the “Ctrl” key pressed while clicking on the link for the list. Nopes, It doesnt work :frowning: Oh yes, I remember this one too :frowning:
