All crap aside, I'm sure she knows about sex. If she dosen't thats REALLY hard to believe. I mean fair enough parents can deny sex education (mine did) but theres still biology, science (if you didn't pick biology), movies etc. I mean I'm sure shes seen two people get frisky on TV. I doubt her parents changed the channel and said "Woh dono ludo khelnay walay hain". If she dosen't know about sex, well hats off to the parents on doing a good job of sheltering their daughter.
Maybe shes just not sure if Muslims have sex? ( assuming shes a Muslim) I mean, I didn't think Muslims were allowed to have sex (even after marriage) till I was in the 9th grade. Babies to me just happened after two people got nikah'd. I actually saw a Muslim couple I know kissing once and my jaw dropped.
Either case talk to her I'd say. Don't think her parents would talk to her about it ever. SHE NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT AWAITS HER!!!
I think it’s because she’s always had that ‘I’m too young for this’ mentality, so she’s just let herself be sheltered. I’m gonna bring it up with her and see whether she is interested in talking about it.
But otherwise I’ll give her a book.
At least she won’t be as traumatised as I was when I had to watch a video of someone giving birth at the tender age of ten
Nah I reckon don't bring it up with her. That conversation wont go well. I mean obviously you'd show more tact than "WANNA TALK ABOUT SEX RAPE SMILE " but theres only so much tact you can go about with sex.
Let her bring it up and take the reins from there. Or maybe expose her to a skosh of it and be ready to jump in when she asks a question.
Or do you it your way and just bring it up. You know her better and would understand how to deal with the situation. Either case, SHE NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT AWAITS HER!!!!!
