Okay so I’ve gotten a little bit more used to Vista. It’s not so bad. It’s just a little different. My computer has 4 GB RAM so everything runs pretty smoothly. I just got a little frustrated the first time, that’s all.

Can Dell fix my spacebar? It doesn’t work properly. Sometimes I have to hit it a few times to get it to work. It’s really annoying.

Did you call them up? Maybe you can also request a color change

congrats on your new laptop.
4 GB is the right dimension of RAM for VIsta. Good choice :k:
Dont get frustrated with VISTA, once you get used to It you will love It.
Especially search function of VISTA (over Windows Explorer is awesome and fast).
Anyway the spacebar issue is well known. I had same probs, but they last only few days. After you have had enough hits on your spacebar, It will be much easier to press. You dont need to change It.

I am stuck with Vista too, and it crashes way more often than XP.

Never crashed, and havent had a problem with it yet....and like it more than any other windows OS. Much easier interface. As someone said earlier...once you get used to it ...you will love it.

Stay away from Media player new version for the most part.
