I changed my brother’s yahoo password last night and i don’t remember what is the new password 
He has asked me to check his inbox a few hours back and i can’t access inbox 
I tried some random words and account is lock now 
dun know what to do

Contacting yahoo is good idea as i won’t be able to get same emails on the new account.

Dont they have a dedicated department for this sorta thing... when you normally mess up the password on Google they give you an option to enter in a code. Ussually this is a secret code you gave them via a security question and they also have your Phone number so they can send you new codes or e-mail stuff.

They have a page specially for this purpose. It asked me to enter the alternate ID and i entered on my own without asking bro. Then i entered scores of random words in the place of password and now its saying that account has been locked and i can't try before 24 hours :(
