I extremely hate voice call packages offered by almost all cellular companies in Pakistan. Reason is you are busy or tired or aren’t in mood to talk to anyone but someone who has got nothing prolific to do calls. above all don’t hang up before an hour :mad:

most annoying thing is they keep asking “whats new” and “what else” sorta stupid things and when you ask the same thing from them they reply Alhumdulillah we are absolutely fine :smack: they don’t have anything to say or ask but have plentiful time to waste :emmy:

what to do with such people :aj:

I hate cell phones and love the way i use mine.

The moment i get into my house, i switch off the ringer and will switch it on only when getting out of my house again.

All those people who have called me during this period, i see their missed calls and call them back while driving (with hands free of course).

My friends know about this habit and they are all used to of it. Close friends have my land line number with them and will call me direct if there is something urgent and important.

Even if some conversation is getting longer and i dont want to speak with that person any more. My excuse most of the times is that i have to stop the car and get out so we must hang up. Trust me it works :D

Out of Pakistan, people are more sensible and i dont have any friends in my circle who will waste time on useless phone conversations. My rule there is that i dont take any personal phone call during work hours.

initially i also used to do the same but now i feel like :sadaf:

i can’t switch to silent mood as mostly my brother (from work) sisters (from coaching academies ) calls me if they have something urgent to tell. only close friends, acquaintance and relatives have my mobile number in original post i was talking about them :aj:

If it is any help to you I used to keep like a dozen disposable phones and only give out numbers for each phone to specific people… I had one for the fammily, one for friends one for work and one for enemies and so on… damn those were good days. Now I just stick to three. :slight_smile:

I never bother with direct calls anymore only call the missus directly everyone else just gets a text. :hehe:

My best friend is an insomniac who wakes me up at 2:00AM! :mad2:

though right now i have to cell phones with me. 1 for family, only close friends and relatives and the other is only for my fiance :blush:
my fiance is quite keen on telephonic conversations but mostly out of words :smack:
