Are any of u ladies on the same boat? I find cooking so hard and annoying! lol.
and my fiance expects me to learn…arghh! I dont think I can EVER learn.
For those of u who hated cooking but had to learn.. how did u start?

same here. I don't like to cook at all but have to do it. So I try to find things that are easy to make - you know those 30-45 minute recipes.
I just cannot cook those 3+ hour long recipes where you have to slave in the kitchen forever.
Easy does it for me :)

^ I agree! wats funny is that my fiance loves to cook and I must say he is an AMAZING cook. I always tell him he can handle the cooking part after marriage :P

^ So why can't he teach you after you get married? It's not really fair if one partner cooks all the time, say sometimes if he is tired or bz then at least you will be able to cook up something.
If you are talking about pakistani curries etc, I would say master the art of masala making first. Know how to fry your onions and which spices to add etc. When to add and reduce the tomatoes etc.
Then you can add anything to it and end up with a curry.

I don't exactly enjoy cooking all the time. It's the following directions part and measuring ratios I find so annoying and that's basically the reason some of my dishes don't turn out so good.

i hate cooking as well and i didn't learn it until i really really HAD TO, which was after i got married and had some horrible experiences. I am much better at it now... still don't enjoy cooking but i wouldn't say I hate it as much as i did before. I guess you just get used to it.
