^I agree that it takes quite a nice figure to pull off a shorter top or choli but it isn’t just about being thin though. I’ve seen shorter/choli-type tops look quite awkward on thin girls, including myself. Recently, I tried on an Indian style outfit with a choli top for an Indian friend’s engagement party and it looked quite horrible in my opinion. As I’m very thin but not terribly toned, it made me look like a 10 year old anorexic and was not flattering at all. Needless to say, I ended up not getting it. I think that in order for a shorter top, especially a choli, to look good, the bride should have a rather toned stomach (as in not a muffin top but not too thin either).

The outfit I tried on looked similar to this one below. I don’t know if it really looked as bad as thought (or maybe that was just my impression as I’d never tried on anything that revealing before and I’m not keen on Indian clothes) but all I can say about that is…never again.

Bunto cannot be appreciated by just anyone I think...her taste appeals to a different palette.

Manish is talented but again...he also appeals to a certain palette.

The shorter shirts are not timeless IMHO...they remind me of the 90's no matter who wears them. The longer shirts are more classic looking to me. Plus in order for a shorter shirt to look elegant easily, you should be able to wear it well.

I am a bit on the curvy side so love the knee length shirts or longer...if you're busty then short shirts are not for you.

Plus you look taller that way too :)

well she gave an interview tht she got addicted to drugs n then went under treatment might be because of tht
