A three year old girl child named Mahnoor been killed by the string of a kite while she was riding on the motorbike along with her parents.
The string cutted her throat and she died at the spot. Her parents couldnot do anything.:hinna: I hate Basant at the bottom of my heart. I dont know how people find entertainment in this waste of money and time, and now the loss of lives. What was she guilty of?
Please people take pitty on others. Our ministers cant understand this situation as they dont ride motorbikes. They have cars and their children are safe.:hinna: Only the poor die due to such reasons. They have to pay the wage of Entertainment of some poeple.:hinna:

I used to love flying kites when i was in Pakistan. But then I saw ppl getting injured really badly and her news that many would die on this festive day. I was discouraged from then on and have never flew a kite again. I am tottaly against the practice. That poor girl didn't have a choice, I feel sorry for her.
Oh, those memories.....
She died with the normal string. Due to wire we have to suffer continual electricity drifting daily. And it is also a waste of time and money.
It was banned by the Court this year but govt of Lahore got approval for 15 days festival. Tell me, in those 15 days, will no one suffer such things? Mahnoor death is an evident.
Last year my two fingers of right hand, index and middle fingres were sverely injured due to the string. Thank God they didnot get seperate. They were cutted sharply from the joints. Suppose if I losse my fingers, how I could paint any more?
And my 3 years old cousin died 2 years ago due to Basant, She fell down from 3rd floor while her brothers were flying kites.:(
What was she guilty of?
